Core Strength Vinyasa

Service Description
CSV® is a core-integrated, non-linear, Vinyasa-based practice (or methodology) of Yoga that is empowering, inclusive and LIT UP! Influenced by many traditional and modern concepts, CSV brings a playful and fun approach to traditional Vinyasa yoga. Core Strength Vinyasa Yoga creates wave-like transitions along the body (via the deep core line) and helps to release ‘outer body tension’. Culminating cutting edge anatomy and essential core and breath cues, CSV is a wonderful addition to ANY practice of yoga or movement. During a typical CSV class we prepare the body using essential core cues to warm, hydrate tissue, mobilise joints and power up the core. Using the CSV breath we open the body to create space. There are many core integrated movements that are fun, invigorating and releasing. Drawing upon our natural powerful energy from the Earth, we harness this energy to positively travel up along the entire length of the deep core line that helps us to move holistically throughout the class. Awakening inner wisdom, deep core strength, and essentially spaciousness into our body tissues. Detoxifying and removing physical and emotional blockages in it’s path. Using the Myo-Fascial Muscle Meridian system, (Our intricate intelligent super webbing of connective tissue that weaves itself in and around every part of our whole body that transmits force and movement) we can awaken and activate many layers of ourselves to move optimally on our mats without pain or strain on joints to improve our whole wellbeing. Students are encouraged to move to the rhythm of their own body and breath to build ‘trust’ and authenticity. By bringing in all the core cues in class, we can expect to help free up space in the body, release unwanted baggage and build on transformation and freedom of movement. CSV is a GREAT option for those who may struggle with more stronger styles of yoga and/or are new to Vinyasa/Flow, who may have muscle tightness, mild pain, weak pelvic floor muscles, mums who carry children/babies, desk jockeys and stressed out lifestyles. It can be modified, adapted and progressed to make it more individualised for each student attending. Move the way you were born to move and follow the rhythm of your own unique body and breath.
