Polarity Yoga is a gentle yet powerful form of movement therapy designed to restore the natural flow of energy throughout the body. Rooted in the work of Dr. Randolph Stone, the founder of Polarity Therapy. Unlike conventional yoga that emphasizes flexibility or strength, Polarity Yoga focuses on balancing the body’s energy fields. Movements are simple, mindful, and often paired with conscious breathing to release blockages and encourage vitality. The exercises may involve stretching, rocking, arching, squatting, or rhythmic postures, each intended to stimulate specific energy currents that correspond with the body’s natural polarities: positive, negative, and neutral. At its core, Polarity Yoga rests on the principle that life energy flows in patterns throughout the body, much like the currents in nature. When these flows are disrupted, it can manifest as physical tension, emotional stress, or fatigue.
